In an earlier post, I made a mistake. Based on an exchange of emails back in 2015 or 2016 with Dr. Richard Ablin, I said I intend to do an interview with Dr. Ablin on this site. Unfortunately that is impossible because the Honorable Dr. Ablin passed away in 2023. I am very sorry that I missed the opportunity to speak with him again.
Dr. Ablin should be celebrated as a hero to all men. In 1970 hye discovered the Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) and spent the rest of his life fighting the “Prostate Industry” to keep them from exploiting his discovery and to keep PSA Tests from being misused. He fought that fight for all men for over 50 years.
Since I can no longer reach out to Dr. Ablin, I will try to find out who is continuing his work. If no one is carrying on his work, we will carry on the fight in his memory!!
